When i mounted the top bracket over the rain channel the awning didn t roll up right so i would like to mount the top bracket under the channel and the screws a.

So the bracket that holds the awning to the rv got pulled off at the bottom and the lower 2 screws stripped out of the side of the rv. Also the bracket is very slightly bent out at the bottom now.
