In order for the canopy fabric to remain straight and roll up square and evenly unfortunately the tube will need to be replaced. In the morning i realized that i had failed to put enough slant on the awning to allow water to run off. You can either replace the roller on its own if the fabric is still in good condition but the roller is broken or faulty or you can purchase a new roller that also has new fabric on it.
